Payouts
What you are owed, when it moves, and the two ways it reaches you.
- Fee
- 0.5%, taken from the block
- Scheme
- Proportional
- Threshold
- 10 GRIN
- Schedule
- Hourly
- Maturity
- 1,440 blocks, about a day
Two routes
| route | you need | set | who moves it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tor push default | a wallet listening | pass: x | the pool, on its own |
| Slatepack claim | nothing running | pass: slatepack | you, when you get to it |
Switch whenever you like. The next payout takes your whole balance by the new route.
The wait
Grin will not let anyone spend a coinbase for 1,440 blocks. A block we find today credits your balance tomorrow. This is the chain's rule, not ours, and no pool can shorten it.
Tor
The default. Your wallet listens on its own onion service, the pool sends the transaction to it, and the whole thing completes without either of us holding the other's coins.
Slatepack
Grin has no send-to-address. A transaction is built by the sender, signed by the receiver,
and finalised by the sender. Tor just automates that round trip. If you would rather do it
by hand, mine with pass: slatepack and the pool leaves you a blob instead.
Collect the slatepack
It appears on your lookup below once a payout is made.
Sign it
grin-wallet receive -i <file>, or paste it into your wallet's receive box.Send it back
Paste the response into the claim page. The pool finalises it and posts it to the chain.
# 1. see what is waiting, and collect it
curl https://grin.lepool.lol/api/claims/YOUR_ADDRESS
curl https://grin.lepool.lol/api/claims/YOUR_ADDRESS/<id> > slate.txt
# 2. sign your side
grin-wallet receive -i slate.txt # writes slate.txt.response
# 3. send it back. we finalise and post it
curl --data-binary @slate.txt.response \
https://grin.lepool.lol/api/claims/YOUR_ADDRESS/<id>
Step 3 answers {"status":"paid"} with the transaction id. Until you do it
nothing has moved: a half-signed slate is not money. Posting the same one twice is safe,
the second returns already paid.
Unclaimed slatepacks expire after 30 days and the balance returns to your pool account.
Nothing to request
There is no withdraw button. Payouts happen because you crossed the threshold, not because you asked.
Your address is your account. There is nothing else to sign in to.
