Start mining

Three steps, none of which involve an email address.

  1. Get a Slatepack address

    Any Grin wallet gives you one: Grin++, grin-wallet, or Grim on a phone. It starts grin1. That is your account here.

  2. Point your miner at the stratum

    Cuckatoo32 only. ASICs and the high-memory GPU miners both work.

  3. Wait for the maturity

    A found block pays nothing for 1,440 blocks, about a day. After that your balance moves on the next hourly pass, once it clears 10 GRIN.

Solo mining

Not offered here, and it should not be. Solo through a pool means trusting the pool with a whole block. Run your own node and point the miner at its stratum instead; it is the same miner and one config line.
